While generations today know Tim Hortons solely as a destination to pick up a coffee and donut, to previous generations, he was the venerable defenceman of 22 outstanding National Hockey League seasons who died tragically in 1974 at the age of 44. But the player who was selected as one of the ‘100 Greatest NHL Players in History’ was also an ambitious entrepreneur whose legacy today stretches ‘from dreams to donuts.’

Kevin Shea, hockey historian and the author of 17 hockey books, will discuss the multi-faceted life of Tim Horton with the Riverdale Historical Society. Link to Kevin’s website for more information
