The Broadview Hotel and the Practice of Heritage Architecture in Toronto.

ERA started to work on the revitalization of the Broadview Hotel in 2014, while it still operated as Jilly’s with 52 residents in the building above. Working with Streetcar, they planned the conservation work and the new architectural design, resulting in the complete renewal of the building physically and as a hotel and hospitality facility. The renewal of key heritage resources is essential to living communities- ERA’s work on the hotel, the Don Jail and the St. Matthew’s Lawn Bowling Clubhouse are examples of this effort in the Riverside and Riverdale communities.
